Achievements

  • Visiting Expert, Commercial & International Law, High Judicial Institute, Sanaa, Yemen – Conducted 2 weeks of training for all 60 commercial law judges from Yemen’s Courts of First Instance and Courts of Appeal. Instructed the judges on how to apply international treaties and other applicable commercial standards in their national courts. The training took into account the present international obligations of Yemen, and treaty obligations the country may assume in the future in multiple areas, including international business contracts,
    international arbitration, international intellectual property, and international anti-bribery laws.   Appointment by International Development Law Organization (Rome, Italy), working with Ministry of Justice in Yemen.
